THE THESIS
Africa's scientists built civilisation — mathematics at Ishango, astronomy at Nabta Playa, medicine and metallurgy millennia before Europe industrialized either. Today Africa — 18% of humanity — holds about 0.1% of the world's patents, and sub-Saharan Africa fields 88 researchers per million people on 0.38% of GDP — not because African minds went anywhere, but because African states starved them and foreign systems harvested them. The AR reclaims the legacy with a continental R&D architecture built to the standard of the countries that took Africa's talent.
